FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: June 29, 2008

The 2008-2009 NFL Season kicks off on Thursday, September 4 without much change from
last year. While it's been almost seven months since the New England Patriots were
upset by the Giants in the Super Bowl, most online sportsbooks don't see much change
at the top and consider the Patriots and Indianapolis Colts as the teams to beat
once again.

"The two biggest favorites on opening day are the Patriots and Colts," said Dan
DelGato, director of operations for LazerWager.com. "New England is favored at home
by 16 points hosting Kansas City while the Colts are a 9 point home favorite against
Chicago on Sunday Night Football," added DelGato.

The NFL had hoped that their free agency policy would bring parody between the
teams, but nothing could be further from the truth. Even with seven months of
offseason trades, free agent signings, the NFL Draft and the anticipation of a new
season, an incredible 5 of the 13, or 38% of opening Sunday's games are favorites of
a touchdown or more!

Three opening weekend games featuring heavy home favorites include San Diego (-10)
hosting Carolina, Philadelphia (-7) against St. Louis and Pittsburgh (-7) over
Houston. With New England surprisingly losing last year's Super Bowl, the AFC looks
to have a good shot at revenge as three of these four large favorites hail from the
American Football Conference.

Last season, only one game closed with a point spread above a touchdown.
Jacksonville (-8) hosted Tennessee as the largest favorite on the schedule, only to
lose the game outright, 13-10! Interestingly, favorites of 4 points or more posted a
6-1 record both straight-up (SU) and against the spread (ATS), with the only loss
coming from heavily favored Jacksonville.

BoDog, another online sportsbook, agrees with everyone in the gaming industry. With
the exceptions of New England, Indianapolis, Dallas and San Diego, they currently
offer the other 28 NFL teams at 12-1 odds or higher to win the Super Bowl.
